It took me a month, but I did finally drop what I was doing to see it.
Ah, God it was amazing! But depressing. I know it ends with the notion that now they get to create a bunch of new memories, but the ones that got a erased were so fantastic! The beginning was nice, but from then on it's all so sad. It had a lot of fantastic quotes, most of which came from Joels journal. The only one I can think of is "Sand is overrated, it's just a bunch of tiny rocks" but there was a lot more than that. It had a lot of imperfections, ie Joels go-to-couple and Kirsten Dunst having sex in Joels apartment but nevertheless it was a perfect deviant love story.

I'm so glad you finally got to see it!! It is a very quotable movie... a couple of my favorites are "Are we the dining dead?" and how "Valentine's day is a holiday invented by greeting card companies to make people feel like crap." It is depressing that Joel doesn't realize how precious his memories are until it's too late... but I like how it ends with the sentiment that "It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." <3

Finally got an account, like you told me...The name thingy didn't allow spaces, so I had to go with my WoW character's name instead of my first choice, Czar Pikachu XVII.
